How are you doing today? Well I keep myself busy with preparing a story just for you. The fun part is you do not need to do anything!! This is going to be a virtual promenade; I will do everything just for you!! You watch and enjoy!! If you have any questions, please ask. And maybe next time we will do the promenade together online!! hehe:) thanks to Google!! has a product like Hangout!!

Now, just hangout with me with my photos, may be later on we will Hangout virtually, then who knows may be we will hangout live!!

As you may figure it till now, I love to talk & walk & eat!!

Okay let me begin with my story!!

Last Friday weather was so nice in the morning when I woke up;

Sun was up shining, and it was warm. A bit cloudy though. I began to think what to do with this beautiful spring day while taking a deep breath of the air. Whenever I do that I feel soo good.

I closed my eyes and took another big one!! then gave it back. Oh!! that is always giving me some energy under sun.

You can try too, close your eyes and take a big breath, from nose!! Hehe:) You feel yourself laying on the grass under sun in the spring day.. Okay, I had the sun's energy.. time for prepare breakfast.

I mostly have Turkish breakfast. Here;

So after pouring some drinking water at the bottom of my kettle I turned the heat on. Then put three teaspoon of tea leaves in to top kettle and placed it on the bottom one, and let the water to boil.

While water was boiling I decided to take photos of my flowers. You know, I have more flowers this year. Last year I had only geranium and I had really nice time while taking its photos, then I bought my blue hyacinth. This year, I bought the pink one, and tulip.

One of mom's friends brought her cyclamen in the pot. I loved it. I was so happy when mom said I can take it.

So, this year I do have many flowers at my balcony. Almost every day I'm taking their photos and sharing them at Google plus mostly, since I'm getting more feed backs here.

I have blue, red and many pinks :) Hyacinths smell beautiful. Now, close your eyes and take another deep breath.. from nose!! to smell hyacinths..

You know for me every day is a flower.. Blooms in the morning and dies when I go to sleep :) To bloom my day, I'm beginning with flowers..

Well, I’m not taking only one photo. I think sometime some are angry with me, since sharing many of my flowers’ photos. I'm having fun while doing that, with trying different angles, lights and so on. May be you can try too, I'm not sure if they can give you permission to have flowers in your room. If they don't you can find something else around you to take the photo of it.

After water boiled in the bottom kettle, I pour hot water in the top one and refill the bottom one and let it boil again.

Oh! maybe you can take your breakfasts photo.. hehe:) I'm doing that too:))

I believe food, meals are part of the culture and they need to be transfer to new generations. So, I'm sharing what I'm eating all day long.  

I don't know about you, but I love mornings.. and breakfast!! I think it is the most important meal of the day.

Here is one example of my breakfast;

mostly cheese.. I need to give up little bit on cheese. When I was pregnant about 3 months, my doctor told me I should not have any salt. So, I cut salt from all my meals. However I was kept eating cheese in the mornings. When I went to second control, my doctor was so angry with me.. he said that I was eating salt, according to how I looked. When I said I really cut salt and not having any, he wanted me to say what I was eating all day long. Of course, I began counting with cheese :) He stopped me and asked how much amount I was having it.. After getting pregnant somehow I was eating more cheese than usual. He said "noooo cheese".. yes cheese are made with heavy amount of salt.. I never thought about it!! And they have some fat too..

I took my flowers' photos, had my breakfast.. Now, where to go?? I first decided to go to Bosphorus.

Are you using FaceBook? I have elementary and high school's friends over there. I'm having fun with them. So I opened FaceBook to say them good morning too. Some of them are living other areas of Turkey.

Oh!! I forgot!! I'm from İstanbul, Turkey. I was born in İstanbul, but my childhood passed in Ankara, then moved back to İstanbul when I was at high school. I went to University and work in Istanbul. Then I married and migrated to NY, US. I lived there for five years and attend CUNY Computer science, while doing that I got pregnant, after my child was born when he was 11 months old I returned back to İstanbul with my boy and divorced my husband. Since then I'm living in İstanbul. I was first living with my family since my son was so small and I needed to work. When he was nine years old, thanks to my father - family always matter!! - I moved out with my boy to the house he bought for us. Since then, I'm living & working in İstanbul. Little info about myself :)

A girl friend from Facebook who lives in İzmir, suggested to me to go to Heybeli Ada which is one of the Prince Islands at Marmara Sea.. Yes, that may be a good idea!! It was a beautiful day, and I only needed to drive short distance, on the way back I would be in a heavy traffic for a short distance too!! And it is always nice to be in the boat in İstanbul.

You will see, it is fun to ride in a boat..

First let me show you where is Heybeli Ada on the map - hehe:) thanks to Google, map is always useful for me.

The blue point is where my home is, the red A where the boats take off for Prince Islands. And the red circle is Heybeli Ada, which is the second stop..

So, I drove my car to point A!! we do have many parking areas close to dock. I chose first one, it was looking empty.  And weather was so nice, so I could walk to the dock. 

You know it is interesting, when I use download option for inserting a photo here I cannot write next to it. When I use link option, I can..

Okay, lets continue!!

I parked my car and walked.. While walking I took some photos around. We do have walking area all seaside long. And as you can see from the map above my home is close to seaside. So I do many walking and watching:) Especially sunset time. If you would like to you can watch my sunsets too, just follow #oyassunset and for seaside #oyasseaside you may see all of the photos I took while I was at seaside. 

I have a YouTube channel too, where I share my training videos and many others next to it. I prepared a playlist for my nature videos may be you would like to watch them too; ON'12 .

This was the road I walked along to go to dock. 

Oh!! All of those eating areas are new to me!! That means it was quite a time I was not at Bostancı..Bakeries, coffee houses and so on.. Even McDonald's..  

We do have taxi stops almost in front of every dock in İstanbul.

And we do have many types of boats on the seas of İstanbul. We do have fast boats that they can go faster on the sea, so one can save time while riding it. Here is the fast boat dock at Bostancı.

Okay, this is after dinner time for me now. I cooked Rulo köfte - rolled minced meat and rice for tonight. I don't know what you are eating Tyler, or what you allowed to eat. Doctors are banning some foods for some illnesses. You know Google is working on scents now. hehe:) that would be great to post my meals with their scent. Now, I remembered Boston.. This is another story for another time..

Here is the boat I took, at left photo. Before getting in I passed through a gate and paid 3,50 Turkish Liras. ( 1 US$ is between 1,80 and 1,90 Turkish Liras).

You may see the gates at the right. I have a transportation card. It is making easy to travel around. I was about 20 minutes early.

Boat slowly became full in time. And I had my Turkish coffee before leaving. I'm having my coffee and tea sugarless more than ten years now. So, If even small amount of sugar put in I sense it. Yes, as you guess there was some sugar in my coffee!! Any way I drank it. Are you allowed to drink coffee? I do not know so much about your condition. I hope you are getting well, so that you can enjoy with the promenades you are receiving. So many people are working on your campaign. It must be so nice and comforting to know that for you, that you are not alone. So for that take another deep breath!!

 I also bought Simit - which is Turkish pretzel or bagel ( I think much more like bagel). I was planing to feed seagulls while travelling and have some part of it as lunch.  I had late breakfast but I was going to walk at the Island to take some photos and share under #promenade. So boat slowly became full, there were many tourists too, from Russia and Spain. 

Many people were taking photos too. That was the time to move.. We moved from the dock with leaving white foams behind. I don't know have you ever been in a boat? But I am sure you swung.. It is like swinging soo slow from one side to another, from left to right. We did not have big waves that day, so we did not swung from front to back.

We left Bostancı behind. So I began to feed the seagulls. Some caught the small part of simit on the air. Feeding and watching them is great. Some people try to feed them with some biscuits. They stretched out  their arm with biscuit in hand and waited seagulls to have it. But those seagulls did not come soo close to the boat. Here, we were getting closer to Büyük Ada, the biggest island among Prince İslands. Some more information about Büyük Ada; Büyük Ada - wikipedia

We were slowly docking to Büyük Ada.. There was another boat too. The restaurants and coffees were along seaside. After docking many people left the boat. Then we moved again towards Heybeli Ada which is the second biggest island among Prince Islands.

Let me continue, it is almost evening here in İstanbul now. We are having very nice day again. I love spring. After all morning things like breakfast and looking after flowers, I went some shopping. It is hard to be a woman nowadays :)

I wanted to find out how close Heybeli Ada to Büyük Ada, I know it takes about 15 minutes or so to go to Heybeli from Büyük Ada.

At last we arrived to Heybeli....

There are many restaurants and coffees at Heybeli too. Well since I had my breakfast at home and had coffee and some simit at boat I was not hungry, so decided to walk around.

If you do not like to walk hehe:)

they have phaeton service which you can take a ride. I did many times, because it is fun, and the driver gives information about the houses.  Well even I listened many times I keep forgetting.

However there is a special one, at right you can see it. This house is İsmet İnönü's.. İsmet İnönü is our second president and he is a friend of Atatürk. When I was in Ankara my high school was at the back of the parliamentary building, so I was able to see him once. (The photo of his house is from internet)

Hehe:) I saw mandarin trees between houses and I reached then tore one!! I love mandarins.. Are you having any fruit Tyler? I hope you are. Sometimes I forget to eat fruits. Just remembered, let me have an apple and come back:)  Okay, I can continue with the apple's energy now.

I decided to try the mandarin, well it was sooooo sour and there were many seeds inside of tiny small slice. So I could not eat much, but at least it gave me some juice.

While continue walking I saw a local old lady carrying her pushcart with one hand and many yellow flowers on the other. She was going to shopping I assumed.. It is easy to carry stuff from open bazaar with this pushcart.

Oh! you know there is an open bazaar on every Monday close to me. I love to do shopping from there. Vegetables and fruits are soo fresh since it is Monday.

I kept walking toward to the up from the road. Since it was worm the air was little foggy in the middle of the sea.. But view was so nice that I really would like to share.. Are you using Google Tyler? I think you should, many people are sharing many things. It is really hard to keep up with all.

I stopped that point for a while, looked at the view first and then took some photos and videos too.. Oh! I still did not download them from my camera.. Here, I would like to walk from this road to up!! It seems to be a nice road..

I really don't know what was waiting me at this road. Even though I visited the Island many time, I never climbed from this road, I mostly stayed at seaside at coffees with friends.. So this time is the adventure time for me!! Have you ever had adventures just for yourself alone Tyler? I had many!! Life itself is adventure. We never know what is going to happen next..

Oh!! I brew some tea :) Would you like to have some? You know I did not have any tea that day, I preferred walking around instead.

And that road!! was beautiful with daisies and purple wild flowers.. I took some more photos.

I kept climbing. and I saw a footpath - at right photo - towards the wood. I looked at it and I said "why not try it" to myself. It was a beautiful day, sun was up lightning, so why should I be scared..

Sometimes I do scare. When I scare I try to think about nice and beautiful things, and always take a deep breath!! So, I took my deep breath and go on!!

Many trees in this small wood and people are made a nice footpath while walking around it. So I better to follow it.

Weather was so nice and I was in a small wood with trees all around me. That was wonderful Tyler. I hope you are also feeling it and taking some deep breaths with me. There was some opening, I mean only a few trees and I was able to see the sky.  So I first looked at sky then to the floor. Oh!! my God!! Daisies at both sides again!! They were beautiful!! Here is the photo I took over there;

I kept walking around towards up. Do you know what the best of this small promenade was? hehe!! I was sharing most of the photos as soon as I took it.. There is a blue photo button appears below everything at Google on mobile. I used that button to take photos. When click on it another small window with all photos previously taken opens.  At the bottom of that window again there is a small blue photo button, when click on it camera opens!! hehe:) as soon as photo taken two button appears. One is re-take button and next one is check button which clicking on it post window with the photo appears on the screen and writing comments and posting is easy this way..

At the top of the hill there is a Greek Monastery and its Boy high school. I reached that building..

School is closed since 1971 because of the private schools laws. According to that law school must be operate under one of Turkish University or faculty. However, patriarchate of the school was against it. So, school was close till now. But as far as I know this year it will be open and operate again.  

I went inside and visited allowed areas, I will share photos, but need to have dinner now.. I hope you are having your meals properly. So you can read all stories which are sent to you. Boy!! you are lucky, everybody is taking photos and writing for you, I'm getting jealous :))

Okay, I had my dinner. Let me continue with photos of the school, I could not get in the Monastery. They said it is open only in the mornings. I was there I guess around 4pm. 

I walked around the garden. At the area of the left side of the building I saw these dried trees. One of them had a ladder next to it.. I don't know why? I really don't know why they were still keeping them like that.. It is a bit odd to me. I still could not figure it out the reason. Anyway, I kept walking. I saw a few seagulls around trees a few steps ahead. So I began to walk towards them. There were few of them; some after seeing me flew away, so I was only able to take the photo of one of them. They were on the edge. Since I walked there I saw there is some place below. Oh!! I would never ever guess, I'm sure you would not too.. I think no one can guess what I saw at below.. That was a big garden though. Still it is un-guessable :))  At this point I'm leaving you to think a bit and taking a break to have some ice cream :)) 

Well that one was double chocolate :) Do you like ice cream too? I guess everybody likes it. We do have ice cream shop chain like Baskin-Robbins here. Their name is Mado. They serve Turkish sweets too like baklava. Have you tried baklava? Let me find you some photo for you. You are seeing it at left.. They are serving with ice cream. They have black mulberry ice cream which I like the most. 

Oh!! I lost myself :) Let me continue with what I saw.. some chicken and rooster who were signing at wrong time. You know we have saying that Rooster's head cut off if sings untimely - Zamansız öten horozun başını keserler..

There were more!! Next to this cage there were sheep's cage, yes you are reading correctly.. There were some sheep too.  I was keep walking looking down. Hehe:)) there were more animals!! But I would never ever guess that I would see it here!! I believe no one can guess unless being there and seeing before.

I felt like I'm visiting some zoo :) But this one was a beauty!! I would not believe my eyes. And I spent quite time with it.

PEACOCKS!! Yes, I saw male and female ones.. They were both in the cage below. I said many things, made any kind of voice to make her to open the beautiful tale!! But she was stubborn!!

She never opened her tail even I spent quite time with them. But I had great time. I'm sure you would too. May be some day you will come here and we together go there and see her. May be that time she even open her tail, who knows Tyler.

She is very beautiful. I took many photos of both her and him. I do not think inserting all here is a good idea. I will put a few beautiful ones and I do have some photos of them for fun too.

They are funny animals :)

For instance, I thought they were going to move around the cage.. forgetting they are kind of bird!! What birds do Tyler? They fly!!! hahhahaha:) Yes, as you can imagine that big beautiful peacock flew up near to me :))

So I began to get closer to her, to make her open her tail.. Nah!! Stubborn!!

Good morning Tyler, how is your day today? Mine started with math :) You know my major was math at university. Oh! boy!! it was hard for me to pass through topology :)) that was last course left and after taking 2 exams at third one at last I passed through and graduated. You know, I did not have any graduation party, because of terrorism. I wish I had.. I don't want to remember those days, so lets talk about nice things, PEACOCK for instance :) Let me find nice and funny photos of that beautiful animal.

Well I will continue later Tyler, I just received a phone call, I'm going to job interview.. pray for me!!

Hi Tyler, I did not need to go there, just talked at Skype.. I love IT - information technologies.. On Friday, I'm going to have another interview. Job is related to IT, marketing and so on.. I will see if I can be happy there :)

Now, I need to cook lunch!! so having another break!! I'm making mantı, I'll do the dough.. Follow #W830TR to learn the recipe :)

Okay, I'm back with my coffee, I'm mostly having Turkish coffee, because its taste better and cheaper:) 100gr of it about 2$ while one cup of coffee latte costs about this much.. 1 teaspoon is about 15gr.. 100/15 = 6,7 so I can have 6 cups in total 2$..

Beautiful animal.. I bet you wondered the male one:)) You probably not going out so much.. you can follow my seaside photos too. You know it is really amazing, I'm going almost to the same spot.. And every time I am getting different results. Here #oyasseaside and #oyassunset. If you love clouds; #oyasclouds time to time I'm cloud watching. lol...

 They were used to humans, I talked to them and followed them. They kept quietly walking around. Male was following female of course :))

I began to chase them towards other side of the garden hoping she may open the famous tail!!

Nah!!! nooo luck!! they run to other side and find some fire fountain... You wonder, or probably think that they might have some water from it.

Hehe:)) Nooo!! they did something else and that was so surprising to me and soo funny. Let me find the photos of them with fire fountain and share it here..

Hahahahhahha :) Females!! Can you guess what a female can do? COCKY!! !

Now, I'm taking some tea break, I eat to much at lunch, 2 full plates of mantı!! Let me give you some information about mantı first, here is the link to my post How To prepare mantı After preparing them need to boil them in the salty, oily water. And serve it like that with yogurt  tomato paste sauce and some seasoning.. If you can not see the link say so, I will give the photos..

Hahahha:)) I will continue tomorrow, but not in the morning. I will take mom to hospital to her doctor. Regular check up, she has Parkinson.

I will be at home in the afternoon I believe..

Hi Tyler, I returned back home around 5pm I believe. After having my tea, mom stopped by. We had some chit-chat:) I know, I talk too much.. Later on we went to dinner out all together. I just came back and keep writing a few more sentences to you.

So, have you thought what was peacock doing? Hehe:) I'm not going to say yet. Last night I made some gifs out of peacock photos I took. Let me share with you.. I managed to do the male one's soo similar.

I love to make gifs which reminds me flash (Macromedia- Adobe). I did a few works with flash. I made some web design with it too; http://www.oyasanli.com/Aysan_Sumercan/index.html  For Flash you need to do some programming, but for gif there is no need for that and easy to make it with some photos.

Okay, I know you were wondering what that beautiful animal did with fire fountain :) Hehe:)) they were using it like a mirror and they were looking at themselves :) First the female looked herself then male followed. I will make another gif about them.. while they were around this fountain..

I feel a bit tired now, I will continue tomorrow evening..  But last photo:

Heeyy!! Tyler how are you doing? I hope you feel all right. You know what I want sometimes to do? Lie on the bed and close my eyes and think nothing, empty my brain!!

Anyway, I have a job now, on Monday I will begin. I will give details on Monday..

I found them funny with that shiny mirror type fire fountain.. They looked at themselves and they peck on their reflection. 

I decided that I spent so much time with them. (Now, again I'm thinking the same:)) So I left them and kept walking towards the front of the Monastery away below. I heard some barking.. There was another cage in front of me;

I kept walking and faced with two small nice dogs!! I get closer, they were like waving me at first.. When I was soo closer they began to say something.. Especially this one like was complaining or crying. May be they wanted me to take them out of the cage, I don't know really. But is was obvious that were not happy about something.. but what. I could not take them, because of their mother. She was a bit further and since I stopped by the cage was barking continuously. 

I'm a mother too, I can never take her children away. Since they were soo young they were playful. I watched them for a while. I think they realized that I'm not there to take them after a while.. So they began to play with each other. I took so many photos them. They were cute small dogs. You know I did not have any pets. My son when he was small he asked for it quite a few times. But how could we take care of a dog? I was working, so leaving home early in the morning between 7:30-8:00 am and coming back about 8pm. He was going to school early in the morning between 8:00-8:30am and coming back to home around 4:30pm. What would do the dog all alone at home? I explained a few time to him that I would not leave dog alone that much and it is not good for them. Then he agreed. But time to time I still thinking to get a dog as pet. May be some day I will.

Time to time they were quite and sad.. looking at me like "play with us".. but mother a few steps ahead was barking so loud and without stopping. I did not want her to get mad and move a few steps towards her..

I told the mother I'm leaving and she stopped barking. I moved back, I wanted to get in the building and see inside. I was sad though when I learned that Monastery was open only in the mornings, and I was not allowed to see inside.

Well you see Tyler I had really nice day over there and my story still not finished yet..

We never know what life brings to us. For me it is unbelievable what I have been living through last tree years. Well, many stories may come out:)

Goood mmoorrning!! A new day, and new hopes.. I love spring, I had my breakfast at balcony today.

Hi Tyler, Good evening!! Today I met  +Satyr Icon  face to face here, in İstanbul. He was wondering where I was taking #oyassunset photos.. We had some Turkish zetinyağlı - vegetables cooked with olive oil and served cold - plate. Then we sat at the tea house near the sea, where I was sitting and feeding sparrows then taking sunset photos.. Well weather was soo foggy, and there were almost no sunset because of that, so I did not take any photos. He was able even too see some pillow fight.. Yes, pillow fight!! We saw a group of people were doing something. When got closer we saw they were fighting with pillows :) In the mid of the park somebody with megaphone in hand was conducting the fights.. Many people pillows in their hands were fighting with each other, just for fun. I saw first time such an activity at that area. I guess I should wait many more from now on.

Anyway, it was nice to meet the one I circled back face to face..

Okay, after seeing dogs I moved towards the doors of the school. Mean time I took those photos;

This was monastery's front door at right. 

I kept walking, as soon as  I turned the corner I saw some dogs again..

One was tied the black and big one was free. First I scared; I guess the black one was the father of those two which I saw at back. He did not bother to move at all :)

So I kept walking towards them. There was a green house. I did not want to get in though. It was foggy and hot. I know it would be much more humid inside.

So, I kept walking to get in the building.

After flowers, at left side I saw an open door which was "OKUL" written on top of it. So I slowly got in. "Okul" means School in Turkish. There were no lightning inside. I did not attempt to find the switches. I took some photos inside. There was a bicycle leaning to the wall and a long corridor.  I chose to go out.

I kept walking towards to the front.. I wanted to see the Monastery too. In front of the building there were Atatürk’s sculpture as usual for any other schools in Turkey. I really do not know if they are keep doing it, but we were standing at attention in order to show respect to Atatürk and sang national anthem on Monday mornings and Friday evenings.

And a big green table for table tennis;

I met a man, he said that was all I can see, upstairs were closed to visitors, and monastery was only opened in the mornings. So I decided to go out from monastery side and at least take some pictures from outside.   

At the last photo above tree was like connecting two buildings, school and monastery. I read 1884 above the door of the school:

I just decided to go to front garden of the school, the man who let me in came out of the school's door and said that he was going to close and lock the main doors and leave. I replied to him that I only needed a few more minutes and ran to the front garden to take some more photos.

Well Tyler as you see I spent about 2-3 hours over there. I need to prepare some more photos. I don't know about you but, but I feel a bit tired and need to sleep. Good morning Tyler!! I hope you are doing well today. I woke up late today, still having my tea. But don't worry I will finish this story today!! Next weekend most probably, I will write new one. I hope you are enjoying it. On Monday I will begin working again. I will be back home late, since I live job around 7pm I believe around 9pm will be at home. So this time will be 9am-9pm :)) Well adding up the road I have to ride working most of the time was 12 hours for me and still is. Only once I had a job close to home and it took me to go to work about 15 minutes, and that was great.. This new job is at the heart of the İstanbul, at Taksim. I will take some photos tomorrow and share it. 

Anyway, let me continue with the promenade. Actually, I do not know why, I was happier outside. So I kept taking photos even I had been told I had to leave the school soon.

Did you do any sports when you are studying Tyler? Well I did have a sport lecture once a week when I was studying elementary school till my graduation from high school.. that was it for me. Nowadays, I love to walk. I'm thinking now from Monday when to do my walking.. I don't think after it is good idea to walk after having dinner around 9pm. In the mornings I can though. If I can walk two days during weekdays and 2 days in the weekend that would be great for me. Well let's see if I can able to manage it or not. You should try to move even when lying in the bed. It is good for keeping up the form :)

I think, it is going to rain here, my balcony is colder and the air is darker.. Anyway, let me continue..

Those were the photos I took from some kind of terrace, those photos at below are from part of garden and terrace while returning back to the main door;

In the middle one is the front of the Monastery. While leaving terrace I saw this seagull and followed a while..

 After taking those photos, I left the buildings. And they locked the door behind me. I asked the guy who was staying in the small building next to the door, if it is shorter to go down from left or right?. I was hungry:) I wanted to eat something. He said from left and from the pathway was shorter. So I follow it.. I took more photos, I liked the pathway here, I wish I would try it before.. Let me prepare photos for you and insert here.. Meantime I should move inside, it is cold!!

Here was the footpath I followed;

I walked through down in the wood following the pathway. Time to time I stopped and took some photos. Green was beautiful, all around me, and I was seeing houses on the island among branches. Then I saw the Marmara Sea, some boats were leaving the island. After trees the side of the hill with full of houses appeared.. 

I thought to run between green to down first. That would be fun!! However, there was a tided dog barking loud. I kept saying be quite but he did not stop. Then another dog appeared at the other side, he was not tided and he was barking to me too. I scared and returned back, meantime I took photos; 

And I walked through to down by the road..

Another black dog was waiting down to the road, but I'm glad he was not barking!! So I passed through him..

I was close to the seaside. only a few steps more.. So I could eat some :)) 

As usual I did many things while writing and preparing the photos, I had my Turkish coffee, had lunch, had my coffee latte.. Now I’m cooking dinner :))

Yes, yes.. I will finish the story tonight.. 

You think those were the only animals on the island? Horses, dogs, peacocks, seagulls.. hehe:)) You are totally wrong!! There were many cats too.. Are you following #caturday ? Sometimes I'm when I see same photos are sharing many times, I stop. But there are sometimes very nice cat photos. 

Let me share the ones I found on the island.. 

And all were looking like wondering what I was doing :) And this one was looking like "What are you doing woman?"  :)) 

All were nice cats.. After taking their photos I kept walking. I left them behind!! I passed through Heybeliada Association, Heybeliada voluntary association and Heybeliada Music association, here in the building at right. After passing that building I saw some horses and took their photo too:))

Oh!! I forgot to tell you, there is almost no car on the island.. Only government has it to do some services. There are phaetons and bicycles.. One can rent too; here those two rented it and moved!! I have to move with my feet!!  

I did not mentioned about shopping, I think I should at least food shopping.. There are many patisseries which sell bread and cakes and many markets sell vegetables and dairies, meat and so on.. I would like to remind that many people are living there in four seasons. However, many come and full the pensions in summer. 

Here I was at the seaside again.. A big dog was lying in the mid of the street. Weather was slowly become cloudy and foggy. Many people were at seaside, some waiting for the boat some were in coffees and restaurants. 

I had to finish that nice day nicely, so tried to choose some restaurant to eat.. I saw some nice horses again..

Well, there are some shops to buy some gifts too. May be I should enter some and show you around.  Since I did not anything to buy from them, I only took this photo to give you some idea about what were they selling..

Those colorful round things are crowns made out of flowers. I saw some of the tourist wearing those.  At last I found some nice restaurant, here I took some video; in a restaurant at Heybeliada

I ordered some fried calamari, and some  fried "muska börek" .. 

 Looks delicious isn't it? hehe:)) they were delicious.. I mostly go to Prince Island with some friends or with my family. And I went to Büyüka ada many times alone since my work place had a shop overthere.

This time was the first time I went alone for promenade. I'm glad that some of friends did not let me alone. thank you +Jim Sear and +Satyr Icon.. they made some comments, so my promenade was colorful!!

Well that was not it!! I told you I love walking & talking & eating :)) I eat more!! I took its video too when it was served.. Bubbbling shrimp casserole..

There were many cats around me while eating; you know I mostly share my meals if there are some animals around me. This time since waiter warned me that I should not feed them, I did not. Hmmm. yes, I did bad myself, but I never want a cat jump over my lap..

Oh!! Suddenly it began to rain!! I finished my meal and asked for bill and a Turkish coffee..

I walked towards the dock after paying the bill which was 44Turkish Liras (about 22$) a bit expensive, but all were fresh and was tasting good. I always have some fish stuff while eating at islands, because they are mostly fresh. I wanted to have fried mussels too, but waiter said it is not time, so they do not have it fresh. I agree, it is better to have mussels at autumn. 

While walking to the dock it was raining, I passed the gates after paying 3,50 Turkish liras and waited for the boat.

We left the island that boat was directly going to Bostancı, some others which are in another time may first staop at Büyükada and then go to Bostancı. Here is the tariff of the boats: 

from Bostancı to Islands and from Heybeliada to Bostancı We do have many vapur - steamer go to Islands too here its tariff : Şehirhatları - Vapur - Adalar

I took many photos while I was in the boat, but weather was not so nice and it was raining so I'm sharing only a few here. If you would like to you can view them with searching #promenade.. here we are getting close..

I took my car from the park and here I was returning back home.. I was in a rush hours so waited so long in the traffic. I don't know if you ever drive, I love driving. hahaha:) I should ask about +Satyr Icon how was my driving:)) he was pushing breaks so many times next to me:)) hahaha:) He was İstanbul, and I drove them to Dragos we had lunch and then had coffee at my seaside :) #oyasseaside If you come here let me know, that we would have nice time. 

  Okay!! Tyler that was it.. almost half day promenade just for you!! ı hope you enjoyed and had fun. While I was walking & sharing & talking & writing & eating really had fun. 

İstanbul is full of fun!! Tomorrow, I will begin to work on a new job, so week days I may have not any opportunity to do some small promenades, but weekends i will try. I love spring and autumn most!!
