Stuffed balls – İçli köfte

The stuffing

1/2 water glass of chopped walnut
Slice 1 onion in to cubes
Add 2 table spoon full olive oil into pan and turn on the medium heat add onions
Stir a few moments till they get light brown.
Then add 200gr (approximately 0.450 pounds) minced meat

Add
walnuts, 1 teaspoon of salt
2-3 gr black pepper
2-3 gr crushed red pepper
2-3 gr red pepper(dust)
1 teaspoon cumin
stir all until meat is cooked and add
1/2 glass of chopped parsley stir all and turn off the heat.

The covering

1,5 glass of thin wheat (bulgur)
1,5 tablespoon of semolina
pour 2 glass of hot water on top of them wait about 10-15 minutes
Then stir all with a spoon
Add
1 tablespoon of pepper paste
2 tablespoon of flour
1 egg
1 teaspoon of salt
2-3 gr black pepper
2-3 gr red pepper(dust)

and mix all with hand well make a dough.

take 1 cup of water aside
and a cone reamer of citrus juicer
Place a piece of wrap inside of the reamer then wetting your hand bit of water place in the small part of the covering stretch it to cover all sides, leave empty place in the middle so the stuffing can be placed. After putting some stuffing in ( about 2 tablespoon) close it with the covering. Then remove it with the wrap from the reamer and fry it in vegetable oil.

my version:

I put stuffing into small rooms of freezer ice cube tray then I freeze the stuffing. Next day I prepare the covering and thin cover the iced stuffing. Then I boil water and put balls in it for about 3-5 minutes until the covering is cooked.
